TORONTO, Feb 02, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Comnetix Inc (TSX: CXI), a leading provider of biometric identification and authentication solutions, announced that it has received an order, worth approximately $620,000 (US), for the industry leading Civil Applicant Processing System (CAPS(TM)) to perform employee background checks for a New York State health services agency. The order includes the Company's next generation Java-based CAPS software which provides automated business process solutions for the healthcare industry developed specifically to comply with federal, state or self-imposed regulations and 40 desktop live scan systems. This is the second major order received recently from health services organizations in the state of New York.
